Our history in Uruguay
HSBC began its operations in Uruguay with 60 employees and now has over 260.
In 2023, HSBC Uruguay opened a new HQ, addressing customer feedback. HSBC Uruguay now operates in a Business Office that breaks traditional banking paradigms: with open and collaborative spaces, no limited working hours, and promotion of remote work. The new HSBC Uruguay HQ offers greater flexibility to employees and allows customers to access comprehensive services. All HSBC Uruguay branches have transitioned to the Business Office concept to offer the best service to their clients.
